We had the last skate night of the year in April. I really like going to skate night and love that I have my own skates to skate in! It's always fun seeing my friends and this time I skated with one of my best buds, Reed. He's a lot fun and it was fun to skate with him!
I got my hair cut a few weeks ago and I love it! I'd been wanting to get my hair cut for a while and it finally happened. I didn't realize how long my hair was until I got it cut. She cut off maybe about 4-4 1/2 inches! I like it being shorter and also like that I can still put it up in a ponytail!

We had a "teachers dress like students, students dress like teachers" spirit day in May. It was pretty fun! I wore a skirt like a lot of teachers do and I wore my belt bag all day like our principal wears. I also wore fun earrings like my first grade teacher wears. It was a fun spirit day!
Mother's Day was last weekend and I think I have the best mommy! I made her a card and a bookmark that she said she loved. Mommy is really good to me. She makes my lunch, she helps me figure out what to wear, she washes my hair for me, and she lets me play on the iPad a lot! I love her!
We went on a field trip to the Nature Center last month and it was pretty fun! We walked on the long trail and just looked at nature. It went along with the science unit we had been studying. After the Nature Center we went to a park and had lunch and then got to play a little. That was pretty fun!
We did self portraits againt his year in art class. We did them last year but this year we did them a little different. Here is mine! I'm green because everyone in my class was supposed to color ours different shades of green. I think it looks pretty good!
Last Friday my class went on a field trip to the Wonders of Wildlife museum! I've been there a lot of times, but it was fun because it was with my class friends and I got out of school! Mommy came along to help and I got to be in her group. I kind of wanted to be in group with some of my other friends, but it was okay, we still got to see them.
