Jesus Is With Us When We're Scared

I learned a really important lesson in Sunday school last week! That lesson is:

Jesus is with us when we're scared!

My teachers, Miss Hannah and Mr. Evan, taught that lesson to me and I got to make a neat craft, too, to help me remember it. It's a picture of a little boy who is all alone and scared. He opens the door to see that Jesus is there with him so he doesn't have to be scared anymore! You can watch me teach you the lesson here!

My Book Boat

I got a really neat present for my birthday! It's my very own book boat and I love it! My Great Aunt Linda and Great Uncle Dale gave it to me. They live in Omaha, Nebraska, but were visiting at Gumma and Poppy's house last weekend, so we got to go see them. I didn't know I'd get presents, so this was really super fun!

My book boat is so neat! It's a tub that Aunt Linda decorated, free-hand, all by herself Mommy said, and I get to sit in it and read books, color, eat, whatever I want to do. It's so much fun! I sat in it some at Gumma's house and then at my house I watched TV in it, played a game with Daddy in it, and even ate dinner in it! I love it so much! Thank you Aunt Linda and Uncle Dale! I love my book boat and I love you!

My 3rd Birthday!

I turned three last week and had a fun time celebrating it! I had a party on the Saturday before my birthday and Gramma and Grampa, Gumma and Poppy, and Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Nathan, Trevor, and Cody all came to celebrate with me! We had a fun time playing together, eating pizza, and having my Daniel Tiger birthday cake! You can watch everyone sing Happy Birthday to me here! I also got some really fun presents like a bubble machine, a really neat sticker book and color pages, and a really pretty dress that I wanted!

On my birthday I had breakfast in bed! I love having breakfast in bed! I had orange juice with a banana and cottage cheese! That morning I got to go to Krispy Kreme and have a donut with Daddy while Mommy took Lucy to dance class. I love getting donuts with Daddy, and I even got to ride in his car! That's always fun!

It was a really rainy day, so we didn't get to do anything outside. I took a nap and played and watched a show and then we went to Bass Pro Shops to look at the animals before going to Perkins to eat dinner with Gumma and Poppy. It was neat at Perkins because they brought me out a piece of pie and sang Happy Birthday to me! I felt really special!

We went home and I opened more presents and then had cake again! I had a super great birthday and am really liking being three so far!

I'm 3!

Today is my birthday and I'm now officially 3 years old! I had a fun day and will write more about it later! Here's my three-year-old pictures that Mommy had me take. I'm so cute!

My Fruit Salad Salsa Dance Costume

I got to try on my dance recital costume at dance class last week! My costume is so pretty and I love it! I'll also get to use maracas during my dance! The song I'm dancing to is called Fruit Salad Salsa and it's a super fun! You can watch me practice my dance here!

Valentine's Day Hearts

I got to make a Valentine's Day heart at the gym one day and it was put on on the wall in the lobby! My heart says I love Lucy, Mommy, Daddy, kitties, and doggies! I'm really proud of my heart!

Practicing For My Recital

I've been going to dance for a month now and love it! Each week we learn a new step and also work on the dance that we will do at our spring recital in May. It's a really fun song called, "Fruit Salad Salsa." You can watch me practice it at my last dance class here! I'm having so much fun at dance class and am so glad I get to go!
