Three Fortunes!

One Friday night Lucy went to a birthday party for a friend so Mommy and Daddy got me a happy meal from McDonald's and we took it to Lucy's so they could eat Chinese food. I don't like Lucy's so I'm glad they let me get a happy meal instead. They did give me a fortune cookie and it was so funny because I actually had 3 fortunes in my cookie instead of 1! And one of the fortunes said something about 3 months from today something good will happen. Three months from that day would be Friday, December 8, so we will have to see what happens that day! 

101 Dalmatians Play!

 The 101 Dalmatians play is over and I miss it! I had so much fun doing the play. It was fun hanging out with the friends I knew and also meeting new people. My character's name was Freckles and I had one line, "Cruella's fur vault." Mommy and Daddy said I did a really good job with my line and I totally agree with them! We had 5 performances and I had family and friends and even teachers at the shows. After the show most of the cast went to Orange Leaf to get a treat and celebrate and that was a lot of fun because we all started signing songs from the play! It was so much fun and I really want to do another play sometime soon. 

Cabinet Fun!

So my friend, Haddie, came over one night before play practice and we had a lot of fun playing in our basement cabinets! It was so fun to play hide and seek like this! You can watch us here! 

School

Here are some pictures that my teacher posted at the beginning of school for parents. One is just us all sitting together and another is in the library. Then another is when we were doing a writing project. Mommy says she really likes getting pictures like this! 

Music Room!

I made myself a music room in the basement! First I was using the counter and had a kind of drum set up, but then I realized I could move it all into the room that's underneath the stairs. As Mommy said, I'm really creative! 

8 1/2!

My 8 1/2 year birthday was on August 20, just 2 days before school started. Everyone sang to me during dinner and you can that here! I can't believe I'm already 8 1/2! That half year went by really fast. Mommy got me some press on fingernails. I really liked them, but they were kind of long so I didn't wear them for a long time. But I like them! Now I can't wait for my full birthday where I turn 9!!

101 Dalmatians!

I'm in the 101 Dalmatians play at the Springfield Little Theater! And I even have a speaking part! My puppy's name is Freckles and I have a line where I say "Cruella's fur vault." It's pretty easy and I memorized it right away. I've been having fun with the practices. They are Monday-Thursday from 7-9pm. I don't really like going to bed late and having to get up early, but it's okay. Lucy is doing the play and some of my friends are, too, which is super fun! Our performances are 9/21-9/24. I'm not sure if I will have a microphone during the play but I sure hope I do! 

The Lion King!

I was in a performance of The Lion King right before school started! Me and Lucy both did the Lion King camp that was at the Springfield Little Theater and it was two weeks right before school started. We had to audition for parts and then had six performances at the end of the two weeks. I was in the Jungle Ensemble and had a leaf that I carried around. At one point I also had a light that I got to click off and on. It was fun, but sometimes it got boring. Since I didn't have a really big part I wasn't always working on it. But I'm really glad I did the play!
