I get to be a cheerleader! My computers teacher at school coaches cheerleaders for a flag football team and I got to be a part of it this year with Lucy! We had our first practice last week and our first game on Saturday. It was really fun, but really hot, too. I think I really like cheerleading and am kind of good at it, too! I'm 7 1/2 now! My half year birthday was last Saturday, August 20. I got to get a McDonald's happy meal for dinner and I loved it! Everyone sang happy half year birthday to me and I held the candles and burned my hands with the wax when I blew out the candles! That really hurt! You can watch them sing to me here! Mommy gave me an earbuds holder that I've been wanting for a long time, so that was fun! I can't believe I'm already 7 1/2! That means less than half a year until I'm 8!!
I started second grade this week! I like to call it peace grade because when you make a 2 to show second grade it's really like a peace sign! My teacher is Ms. Felton and that's who Lucy had when she was in second grade. I like her! We have to actually start school at 7:20 am this year! That means the bell rings and we start school stuff at that time. I've been tired this week! I have some fun friends in my class and one of my friends from last year who I thought was moving didn't move, so she's still at school! I really like her! I think second grade will be fun!
There's a girl I like to watch on You Tube Kids named Moriah Elizabeth and she paints squishies. It's really cool how she takes them and paints them and makes them all different. I really like watching her videos and Mommy watched one with me one day and thought it was pretty cool, too! I asked Mommy if I could paint one of my squishies and she said yes! I was so surprised and excited that she said yes! It was fun painting mine, but I don't think it turned out as good as Moriah Elizabeth's, but that's okay. It was fun to paint it and maybe I'll try painting another one sometime soon.
Mommy let me make slime last week! I have wanted to make slime for a while and she finally said yes! We had to buy some glue and some contact lens cleaner or something and then put that together with baking powder and stirred it all together. It was really weird and sticky, but really neat to see how it all came together. I really like slime and am so surprised Mommy let me make it because I know she doesn't like slime at all! I pranked Mommy the other day by telling her our toilet was smoking! I don't think she believed me, but she thought it was funny!
We've been going to a different library than what we usually go to this summer and they have a really cool book return! Mommy said it's a conveyor belt that you put your book in and then it just takes it on its way for you. I really like returning books to this library to use it! You can watch here! This is at the library where we read to the dogs and we got to read to them one last time last week! It was a lot of fun to read to all the dogs and I hope we get to do it again sometime soon.
Me and Lucy play a fun game called the beach ball game. We used to play it with out big bouncy ball but Mommy and Daddy said we couldn't play with that ball anymore because it could break stuff. So we use a beach ball that we toss back and forth to each other. It's a lot of fun! You can watch us play here! We don't like that Mommy always films us doing these things but she doesn't stop!
